Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Tutoring

A+ Solutions provides Applied Behavior Analysis, (ABA) tutoring assistance, including setting up a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Case Recommendations conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
A behavior plan is created and can be implemented through by an ABA tutor.

What is a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)?

A functional behavior assessment is a systematic method of assessment procedures that results in the identification and description of the relationships that exist between the unique characteristics of the individual and the contextual variables within the environment that trigger, motivate and reinforce behavior.  Information gathered during the FBA process will indicate the purpose or function of the target behavior, which can then guide intervention planning.

The FBA results can inform intervention planning, IEP planning, and classroom/home/community strategies for mitigating and/or replacing maladaptive behaviors.

We also offer behavioral coaching to staff members, care givers and families.  This service focuses on equipping the family/staff with the necessary information and/or resources to implement intervention strategies.

Applied behavior analysis tutoring can occur two ways:

We can provide the direct service or treatment to the individual, or supervise a tutor around the implementation of intervention with the intent to increase replacement behaviors and skills while concurrently decreasing the maladaptive behaviors.

We also provide family training, group therapy and social skills groups.

Special needs scholarships can be applied to these services. Click here for more information on the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship or the Autism Scholarship Program.
