Hadassa Meyers, MA
Director of Educational Services
Hadassa earned her Masters of Arts in Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in 1999. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Stern College, Yeshiva University. Hadassa has a wealth of teaching experience ranging from general education to special education.
Hadassa works with the whole educational team in several ways:
- Coordinating service plans for individual students.
- Mentoring teachers, tutors and therapists.
- Consulting with parents and school administrators on how to best serve students, in and out of the classroom.
- Directs and administers Jon Peterson and Autism Scholarship Programs.
Oren Meyers, PhD
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Oren Meyers has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University. His internship training was at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland and Brecksville, OH and his post-doctoral training was at University Hospitals of Cleveland in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Oren serves on the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is licensed by the State of Ohio and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Andrea Schwartz, MA Ed.
Lead Intervention Specialist
Andrea completed her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at John Carroll University, her Masters of Education in School Counseling at Kent State University, and her Intervention Specialist Program at Cleveland State University. Prior to working for A+ Solutions, Andrea worked for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District for over a decade in a variety of teaching positions and grades. She currently works as an Intervention Specialist, helping and advocating for students with special needs in several area schools. Andrea mentors our Scholarship staff and directs our parent communication program.
Courtney Evenchik, MA, NCSP
Director of School Psychology Services
Courtney Evenchik received an MA at the Ohio State University specialist level program in School Psychology. She is the Director of the School Psychology program at A+ Solutions and serves as the title I coordinator. She facilitates social skills groups, parenting groups and provides parent education and guidance. Courtney conducts psychoeducational assessments and sees children and adolescents for counseling. Courtney lectures on a variety of topics related to education, parenting and mental health. Courtney is also the coordinator of the Cleveland’s chapter of Safety Kid, a comprehensive child abuse prevention program and directs our school Psychology program and coordinates our title I program.
Odette Hankins, MS, CCC-SLP
Coordinator of Speech Language Pathology Services
Odette Hankins is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who has been working with children since 1984. She works with children as young as two years old up to the age of twenty years. She specializes in the areas of articulation and language disorders, but she also sees children with voice and fluency issues. Special areas of interest include Down syndrome, autism, early language development and disorders and pragmatics.
Odette enjoys speaking with parents, teachers and other allied health professionals about ways to support students in their environment and how to promote age appropriate speech and language skills. She also enjoys providing information about the services offered by A+ Solutions. Odette currently sees students virtually.
